PS CS6 prints wrong colors

Hi There

After many years my PS CS6 has started to print photos in wrong colors (green shade). When I print using other programs than Photoshop...my printer prints the right colors.

I have tried to re-install the program but I still have the same issue.

Photoshop defaults to full printer color management in Photoshop. This requires that you have the correct print profiles installed, and set that up in the PS print dialog.

Other applications don't do that. They just let the printer driver handle everything. Photoshop can be set up that way too. Instead of "Photoshop manages colors", you pick "printer manages colors".

"Photoshop manages color" is much more accurate and flexible, but you need to know what you're doing. In addition to picking the correct print profile - if available for your printer they will be installed with the driver - you also need to go into the printer driver and disable color management there. Finally, very important, you need to pick the right paper type in the printer driver. You need to do that in both cases.

You have not offered any info about your system, your printer, your print settings, color profiles and so on. This is not going anywhere, I'm afraid.

Hi
My printer is a Canon Pro Mark II and my print setting in PS is North
America General Purpose 2.
The key issue is that when I print from any other program than Photoshop
the photos comes out in the right colors so this is specifically a PS issue.
I have not changed any settings in PS it just stared printing wrong
shades...

Please show a screenshot  of both:

a. Your Photoshop print dialogue just before you press print.

b. Your Printer Settings (i.e the Canon settings accessed via the "Printer Settings" button in the print dialogue including any colour settings)
