PS Freezing

I use the latest version of PS everyday and all has been well until today when it froze. First  the clone stamp stopped working then slowly everything stopped working until everthing froze, I had to close it down via the Task Master as that was the only way because my mouse and Wacom pen stopped working, can anyone help please. I am running Windows 10 and Wacom Intuos 4 tablet. Intel (R) i7-6700K CPU processor.
