Question

PS is not saving files of any kind

Hi,

im writing here because I have issues with saving my work on PS, and this started to happen just after I installed Big Sur on my Mac. However, I've tried to see if other people are having the same problems as I do, and yes, many apparently do regardless the software they are using. I have also tried to do some of the things people were saying to do, to try and fix the issue but without success. What could the problem be and can you please help me to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance

Which version of PS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

Are there any error messages?

What ”things” have you tried already?

I've the version 22.1 and since i have plenty of ram and spare disk capacity left. the problem started since i downloaded and installed big sur on my mac. There are no error messages at all just i cant save files after working on them, the saving window does not even show up and the home page on ps is fully black, i mean it doesnt show menu and nothing. I have tried do uninstall and reinstall ps, such as creative cloud but nothing happend plus some of the settings that could have had something to do with it were actually fine so i do not know what else to do.

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences?
