Question

PS layers leave a ghost on the layer underneath when moving them.

I have updated Photoshop to version 21.2 and from that moment on when I move a layer to a different place in the image this one leaves a burnout on the layer underneath. I then need to hide and unhide the layer underneath for it to get rid of that burnout image.

I assume is a bug in the update because this wasn't happening in previous versions.

I hope there's a solution for that.

Cheers

Hi

In preferences disable legacy compositing if it's enabled and restart Photoshop

Thanks Ged.  That fixed it.  Must have been enabled with the latest update.  Happy now

It was enabled by default in the previous version and working without issue, somehow Adobe messed it up, people with older GPU's will not be able to run this version as the update renders them useless

Hi I am also having the same issue.  I have wasted so much time today trying to see if there is some new feature that I should be using.  I have closed and restarted a couple of times and that hasn't fixed it.  Mine was also updated today to V21.2.  Hopefully it will get fixed soon as I can't work like that.
