PS not recognising all of the sky

Hi All

Can anyone suggest why Photoshop is not recognising the section above the stone as sky?

I was hoping to do a sky replacement but PS only recognises the sky on each side, not in the middle.

It does exactly the same in RAW.

All the best

Steve

Many thanks for this daniellei4510.

It worked - though still not quite sure why.

You should post this in the Photoshop forum.
I just treid. First the Select / Sky and then added the middle with the "Quick Selection Tool". That worked fine.

Weird. Anyway, try this:

1. Select subject and copy.

2. While still selected, fill it with black and de-select.

3. Perform sky replacement.

4. Command + Option (or Alt) + V. to place the copied stone directly over the black area.

Me, neither. I was just throwing 'you know what at the wall' to see what stuck and I got lucky. 🙂
