Question

PS Touch purchased but with iOS11 can't access

purchased the PS Touch for iPad at least 5 or 7 years ago when I was married. My ex gave me the account so we didn't have to separate anything. Now iTunes doesn't even show that I purchased it and with the new iOS 11 update all of my work is inaccessible, what should I do?

I know this doesn't help retrieving the data, but there was an announcement almost three years ago about Photoshop Touch:

Photoshop Touch Announcement (May 21, 2015)

Photoshop Touch will no longer be available for purchase. This was a difficult decision, and we encourage you to learn more about where we’re focusing our attention here: Photoshop Mobile Apps…a Peek at What’s to Come.

For customers who purchased the app previously, it will continue to work on your device but no future updates will be provided (bug fixes, operating system updates, etc). You may continue to use the app for the foreseeable future, but please make sure to save your work outside the app.

At that time three years ago, users were advised to "save your work outside the app." More recently, before the iOS 11 upgrade, many news sources advised users to check the list of incompatible apps so that data could be copied out of incompatible apps before the Apple upgrade. I held back one of my devices from upgrading because I wanted more time to get my data off of old apps; I finally upgraded that one yesterday even though iOS 11 has been out since September.

Unfortunately, nothing is probably going to change with Photoshop Touch since the announcement is three years old. But those were the chain of warnings that we got before iOS 11 came out.

get this app  ifileexplorer   or  iexplorer... or smething like that. it has explorer in its name.  it will let you access the file structure.... then go to the folder of ps  touch and copy all your previous files to hard disk of a desktop pc. files are psdx.. google a psdx  to psd converter.  convert them to psd and read them with photoshop on desktop pc

then CURSE ADOBE (lazy guys do not update ps touch any more) but cutse does not help. at least you got your old files back.    iexplore  ixplorer.  something.  there are other file structure access apps there as well.

How can I access to my previous projects if I did not save them to the creative cloud? Help please!

You need to deal with Adobe we here are Adobe users that use Photoshop and Photoshop does not run on mobile OS systems. Use their feedback site Photoshop Family Customer Community

Same here. Used PS Touch all the time and now Adobe wants you to use more than 4-5 different apps to complete your project. I’m trying Pixelmator and Photogene.  Not a happy camper to say the least. I cancelled my Adobe monthly pkg that included created cloud, stock images & the newer apps. PS Touch stayed on my phone & iPad up until the last IOS upgrade to 11.2. GRRR

Correct IOS 11 only support Apple mobile 64bit processors abd 64Bit apps.  Photoshop Touch is an old app so it is not compatable with IOS 11 which supports 64 bit Processors and Apps not old 32bit apps. PS Touch must be a 32bit App. Adobe support for dropped and even old version of current application does not exists,  Adobe has never been known to have good support. You chose to update to IOS 11 Adobe not force you to, Adone is also warning mac users about udataing Mac to OSX 10.13.     OS are changed too....

Adobe touch apps are companion app for use with Adobe Creative cloud desktop applications I believe they are available as free downloads and names may have changed over the years.  Photoshop touch these days may have a different name.   I would not want to even try to use a Photoshop like app on my iPod so I have no idea what its named these days may be.

Adobe Touch App | Touchscreen tools | Touch apps

On my iPod touch IOS11 when I open the APP Store and search on Adobe I see many Adobe Touch apps available for IOS.

I also noticed the not all Apps in my  iPod were compatible with IOS 11 some needed to be updated by the developer to support IOS 11.  Those Apps I removed from my iPod.

Adobe Photoshop Touch may be and old touch application that has not been Updated for IOS 11.  Adobe also does not support old versions of their software. Adobe Photoshop Touch may not be compatible with IOS 11.

This is a User Fourm you are not demanding anything from Adobe here.   I also do not think that adobe would take notice of any demand you may have.  If you were the US goverment the may.

Adobe's support for old releases of their products does not exists.

I have the same question. I purchased this app and use it often. At this point, I’m pretty angry at the fact Adobe seems to immediately abandon its apps, regardless of cost to the end user. allowing PS Touch to simply disappear without any warning or replacement is unacceptable. I demand a response Adobe!
