PS Versions Confusion

I presently have PS Version 24.7.0 and PS Beta Version 25.1.0. I see on the Creative Cloud App that there is now a PS Version 25.0 and a PS Version 24.7.1 available. If I update to the latter two, will I now have 3 PS versions on my PC? I have the "delete older versions" on in settings. I hope someone can clarify this for me. Thanks in advance. Bob

When Photoshop updates with a whole number, it is a new version. When you do a manual install (with automatic updates disabled), you will get a dialog asking if you want to remove older versions. Some of us prefer to keep one earlier version — at least until we know the new one is without bugs. So it's your choice if you will have both 24.7 and 25.1 or just one of them.

The beta version is installed separately. If you don't want to be part of the public beta program to find and report bugs, you can remove it using the CC app.

So the answer is: you will have 1, 2, or 3 versions depending on what you choose!

I got a popup about settings, Creative Cloud had switched on Delete Previous Versions, which I've always had disabled.
