.psd corrupted and won't open in Photoshop version it was created in (one solution)

My town had a blackout a couple of days ago and I still had my computer running so it ended up corrupting the PSD and wouldn't open in photoshop no matter the version. I couldn't find any solutions that could work with the 2019 version and was free. I ended up going through the files options and clicked preview but then that didn't work. I then clicked view online and that took me to one drive and showed the file image intact. I was able to download that PSD file and load it in photoshop cc 2019 with the layers and everything while still having the other file from before that was corrupted. I don't know if this will work for other people but it's worth a shot.
