PSD files greyed-out when trying to open in Photoshop

Hi all,

 

I am having an issue where PSD and some jpeg files are greyed-out when I try to open them in photoshop. Just started happeninh today, haven't had this issue before. Using Mac OS Monterey 12.1.

 

Screenshot attached for reference. Any help would be appreciated!

Coincidentally, they seem to be uncached/non-downloaded iCloud files.  Perhaps it's MacOS indicating the files are not cached to your local machine yet.
