Puppet Warp between two areas

I wish to have two separate areas in puppet warp interact.

I can do this by physically connecting them, ie a bridging element, but what I want to to do this without that element.

For instance, one object could be a wall and the other a 'soft' object being moved towards it.

I can place pins on both objects, but only use pins on each object.

Hope someone can help.

Cheers

Garry

I'm using PS-CC abd the solution was to create a bridging element, i.e. a retangle with a fill, i.e. between the two main element. All three elements, the two main ones and the bridging element, should be on seperate layers. Select the three elements and turn them into a smart object. Then select puppet w and place your pins: yes you will see the bridging element, but don't worry :-)

Close puppet warp and open the smart object and make the bridging element transparent.

It's as simple as that :-)
