Hey guys, first time writing here. but i've been using photoshop everyday since the 90s.

The quickest way for me to export layers in to PNG was always the Quick Export as PNG method.

my trick to have the PNG image the exact size that i wanted was to keep the layers I export with a mask and then when I export the layers, the PNG file will be the size of the mask!

that worked perfectly to me since the end of time! now the default settings of it will always trim the image and ignore the mask! I don't even have that option! and I got large files with loads of layers with masks that I just can't seem to export in the right size! I actually had to go to a windws pc to do it! but I can't always do it that way!

Hello Liffaman, I guess you can downgrade prior to PS 22.3.1, or use the slower method with the legacy old school "Save for the web export" with more PNG options or use export with the old free plugin SuperPNG, but it produce bigger files sometimes http://fnordware.com/superpng/

Good luck

thanks for the quick answer... just tried it, still doesn't work. it's mostly because

I don't have the option "Expot As Legacy" in the "Export" preferances. it's funny that on pc it is actually there, and on mac not!
