Quick Look for PSD files = broken on macOS Monterey

I hope someone can help.

Whenever I wish to view a PSD with Quick Look on macOS Monterey (though the problem pre-dates Monterey) the image is corrupt. It seems to be that only the foremost channel is displayed, and the rest of the image is masked in white.

I always have "Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility" enabled in Preferences / File Handling.

The only fix for this is the PSB Quick Look (https://johnrellis.com/photoshop/psbquicklook.htm#download) -- as soon as this is installed, PSD files display perfectly.

Of course, I'd rather not rely on a third-party plugin!

Can anyone please advise?

Thanks.
