Quick selection tool

Object selection is missing in the latest update 21.0. Same as previous before the latest update. Only 2 items listed, quick selection and magic wand.

If a tool is missing, click the three dots at the bottom of the Tools panel. and choose Edit Toolbar. In the dialog box that appears you can add and remove tools.

I've done everything suggested here and I still can't see it. Here's what I see.

Hi Angie,

You have an older version. The Object Selection tool was new with Photoshop 2020.

If you have a custom toolbar, you may need to go to Edit > Toolbar and reset it.

If you have a custom toolbar , the update will not overwrite it. To see the select object tool - click on the three dots in the toolbar (or use Edit>Toolbar) and then Restore Defaults.
