Quick selection tool - ps6

selection disappears soon after the left click button is released. Is it a bug in the program or incorrect use?

    Hi Ben,

    If you are using a laptop, try connecting an external mouse or use the trackpad instead if using a mouse already.

    Would suggest to reset the Quick selection tool and relaunch Photoshop and test it again.

    To reset tool:

    1. Select Quick selection Tool.tool

    2. Right click/ command click on the flyout menu at the top and choose reset tool

    3. Relaunch Photoshop
