RAW files for new camera won't open in CS5

I am usine CS5 and recently purchased the new Canon 7D Mark II.  It can't read the raw files for this new camera.  Is there an update I can purchase so I can continue using CS5 or do I HAVE to give up and purchase the subscription.  BTW Adobe-I detest the subscription model for this product!!!

    Hi adellel,

    The raw files from your camera are not opening in Cs5 because your version of camera raw is not compatible with Canon 7D Mark II, It requires a minimum of Camera Raw 8.7 to be installed. as mentioned here Cameras supported by Camera Raw

    You need to download Adobe DNG converter and convert those raw files to DNG then you'll be able to open them in Photoshop CS5.
