Raw images not saving as jpegs on my Mac

HELP!! 
I updated my Mac on Friday and now when I try and save raw images as jpegs, I'm getting a spinning wheel, between 0% and 10% progress on the image tab, and then nothing. 
I was originally applying actions as a batch process, which I stopped to see if it made a difference, and it doesn't seem to. 
I have uninstalled and reinstalled PS and that hasn't made a difference. 
Version macOS Catalina 10.15.1
