Re: Brush tool leaves trail of black boxes when painting on layer mask

I know this is an old post, but I'm having this problem too. All drivers and software up to date. It's nothing to do with brush settings or anything. This is purely a display artefact / error. Everything the original poster said is true for me too. Toggling the layer removes the artefact.
GPU is RTX 3060

Additional - It's not just the brush tool. If I deactivate a layer mask, that too generates a temporary large block over the area most recently edited. Again, toggling the layer removes it.
