Sorry to bother you, but your tipp didn't work with my system...
I have reset my preferences, but InDesign AND Photoshop freeze everytime I start them...
My System is:
Windows 10 64-Bit
Intel Core i5-4570 CPU € 3,2 GHz
32 GB RAM
were you successful in resetting your preferences?
if yes, restart your computer in safe mode (with no av etc) and test id and ps. if they freeze in safe mode:
uninstall id and ps including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
