Photoshop 20.0.2 has appeared on my computer.

My years-in-the-making shortcut list has disappeared. How can I use it?

Thanks,

Phil

I make a rule for myself after using Photoshop a few years.  I save anything I add of change in or add to Photoshop Into Folders I have created for my addons for Photoshop.  That way I always know what I have added to Photoshop  and Adobe do not change thing in My folders.  Photoshop may use script and Plug-in in My folders.   Adobe Doe not Migrate third Party Plug-in and scripts etc in any case.  You the user must do that.   While Adobe can Migrate some presets I know even if Adobe fails to migrate my Presets I can always add my presets when I install my plug-in and scripts into the next version of Photoshop.  For I know where my addons are. I have been using Photoshop for 20+ years I do not have installation Problems with new Photoshop versions just have new Photoshop Bugs.

JJMack -- good idea! It has taken me a long time to find my keyboard shortcuts and actions. They were in user/Library/Adobe... and my view options had Library files hidden. I found them now, and I've put them in a new well-named folder.

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil,

Sorry to hear that, could you please let us know the operating system version you're working on?

Could you please check locations mentioned below and see if you're able to see a keyboard shortcut file?

Custom keyboard shortcut location for Windows: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Presets\Keyboard Shortcuts

Custom keyboard shortcut location for macOS: User Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC 2019/Presets/Keyboard Shortcuts

Regards,
Sahil

If your list is not where you made it has either been delete or moved.   Search for it to see if it has bee moved.  If it has not been moved and has been deleted look in the trash.  If not there  get it from your backup.

Can you give us more details please? How and why Photoshop 20.0.2 instead of latest 20.0.4 has appeared? What version was before version which you have installed right now. Do you want to report missing set of shortcuts which was saved or unsaved set and in which previous version before upgrading to 20.0.2?

It sounds like you have your apps set to Auto Update.

There is a section in this article that explains how to activate/deactivate auto update

Update apps to the latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud
