recurring issue loading files a slayer in Photoshop

Hi

After making adjustments in Camera RAW the adjustments are not showing when I load files into layers in Photoshop. It only happens when loading multiple files as layers from Bridge. Individual files are working ok.

This happens with multiple versions of Photoshop and Bridge. Currently I am using PS 23.3.1, Camera Raw v 14.3.0.1072, Bridge v 12.0.1.246

2019 iMac Monterey v 12.3.1

I was on tech support for hours and could not resolve this.

It seems there's a disconnect between your setting sfor how Photoshop finds the RAW image's XMP file info, and how it's stored. Try looking at https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/camera-raw-settings.html  - take a look at the section named "Specify where Camera Raw settings are stored". Check where you are currently saving XMP files, and then try changing them. Test this by working in your normal manner.
If this fixes things, that's great for future, but there's no way to automatically change that setting for previous work. If it doesn't fix things, you can always change your settings back to the way they were.

    Under Camera RAW Preferences > Camera RAW Cache I changed the location to the Adobe Camera RAW 2 folder and that seemed to work.
