reference point snap to guide

I am trying to figure out how to get the transform reference point (also called an anchor point) to snap to guides.
Photoshop 20.0.4

SNAP is checked; SNAP TO Guides is checked, all others unchecked; SHOW Guides and Pixel Grid are checked, Smart Guides is unchecked.

I have tried pressing CNTL as I dragged the reference point. No matter what I do I can't get the reference point to snap to guides.

That shouldn't be happening, as snap to guides not working, could you please check this forum thread and let us know if it helps?Smart Guides and Snap to Point not working...

Bruce - I don't think you can snap the transform anchor to the guides - or, if you can, I've not seen it.
