Reinstall photoshop on larger HD

Question

Hello

I searched for an answer but didn't find one.

I have PS 2024 installed on the C drive which is a SSD and is not large enough anymore. Can I uninstall it using Adobe CC and then install it on my E drive, which is a 1 TB HD, Windows 10 machine? My OS is on the C drive.

Second question If I succeed, do I need to reinstall plugins that I use with PS (such as Topaz Lab) on the E drive also?

There are lots of sites with tips on saving a ton of space on a Windows boot drive.

Turn off windows hibernation This is always the first thing I do with a new system. It is usually a PITA and causes issues on wake up.

Relocate My Documents, Desktop, Downloads.

If you are going to use On Drive, then make it online only.

As Dag has said, these steps will save way more space than installing Photoshop on a second drive.

If you're low on space, this is not the way to solve it! You'll gain at most a couple of GB, which is negligible and totally insignificant in the big picture. Besides, much of the installed files will go to your user account on the C drive anyway. All your applications will dump stuff in your user account, and unless you clean out from time to time, it will accumulate. So you'll get lower and lower on space. Start with dsik cleanup in your operating system, and manually move as much else as you can. A basic configuration of operating system and applications should not take up much more than 100-120 GB. If it's much more than that, it's time to clean up. As it happens, I did that just yesterday, and that freed up 70 GB on my C drive.
