Remove horizontal piece from a vertical image

Dear Sirs, I have a vertical image from which I want to remove a horizontal area of that image and have the other pieces (top and bottom) automatically join together to form the new image.

Just to make sure: Is this about one image or do you need to process many images like this?

I do not think possible to do it automatically. Manually very easyly. Sele t the lower part and move it up, so it will hide the center. In order to not destroy the original you can proceed by duplication on several layers
