Have strong internet connection via Ethernet cable. Happens on Windows 11 wired PC not my laptop connected by WIFI. Photoshop.exe and FireFly is allowed in Windows firewall.

If it works on your WiFi laptop but not on the wired Windows 11 PC, then it’s probably not actually an Adobe server issue or internet speed problem. This usually ends up being something network-related on the desktop specifically, DNS, firewall filtering, proxy settings, router filtering, or even IPv6 weirdness. Adobe’s generative tools are surprisingly sensitive to that stuff. Since Firefly and Photoshop are already allowed in Windows Firewall, give a try changing the PC DNS manually to something like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8) and restart Photoshop completely. Also worth checking if the wired adapter has different proxy/IPv6 settings compared to the laptop. I’ve seen cases where Ethernet and WiFi on the same network, behave differently with Adobe AI services for no obvious reason.

@jeremyb42158125 You might be out of credits. If you ran out of credits, Photoshop will disable Generative Fill and force the Remove Tool to stay in "non-generative" mode. Top of my head, I normally have account open on adobe.com, and I just click on the avatar, and see my credits. Mine was just reset today… if I could share some, I would

Thanks for that but I don’t use many credits.

@jeremyb42158125 Sounds like you are using a Generative AI that is needing credit from a Premium feature credits
