I really need help. I am diong a art project. I've learned most of the editing process from Youtube. I'm trying to edit something from an image. I keep getting these weird outlines. I believe they're vector lines from Adobe Illustrator. I don't how to get rid of them.

I agree with Michael, please tell us more details about that. Maybe there are something wrong when you try to edit illustrator vector art in photoshop (layers, filters, and so on).

Can you please provide more details about the assets and your process. For example...

  • Are you placing Illustrator files into Photoshop?
  • Do you see these lines if you open the files in another program?
  • Are the files you've attached the originals or are they screen captures?
  • etc...

Some of my messages did not get delivered. I'm doing an NFT. I paid for the design. I cut the accesories to paste to a new empty layer. The lines showed up. I've already tried to use the eraser tool.

These are not vector lines, from Illustrator or anywhere else. It looks like edges remaining from poor and inaccurate selections.

You need to go back to start and redo your selections more carefully.

Once you copy a selection to a new layer it can't be changed later. A much better way to this is to use the selection to make masks. A mask can be reworked and refined as you go.
