Removing Plugin Listing from Photoshop's Filter Menu.

How do you remove plugin items from the filter menu of Photoshop CC 2022? I've recently upgraded from Luminar AI to Luminar NEO and wish to remove the previous Luminar AI in the filter menu. I've removed the progrtam itself but the listing still perseveres under Filter/Skylum.

I'm using a Mac OS

I'll try to be kind but from reading some of the answers I can tell some people do not have a computer background. If you have more than one version of say photoshop and the plugin does not recognize the version then you have to add it in the setup. If you try to uninstall and it leaves menu items behind then you may have to reinstall the plugin and reinstall again. Try REVO uninstaller as it digs deep to find the leftovers. Lots of things can cause your computer to be flaky and not complete the uninstall. It could be the plugin and then it could be your system not resonding to cache. 'The answer is clean the machine and then install the pugin and uninstall again. Again it could be that the plugin is not compatible with the version of Photoshop you are running. You will find support suggesting to reinstall or reset the program. I would suggest that it could be a solution but all this takes a long time and corruption and compatibilty, a situation that may or may not be addressed in the next version. The computer people call it a bug out of lack of time to explain. As a college of mine use to say "computers are just wacky and they just keep getting wackier"

I had this problem with the Blowup 3 plugin and the changes and company updates from Exposure software and Alien. Not to mention my ten year old computer that does not read AI. 😛

This is the path to the folder of plug-ins on my Mac (you may have some slightly differing naming of HD etc):

This just allows me to remove the plugin, which I've done. The menu listing in Photoshop CC 2022 under Filters still remains. How do I remove that MENU LISTING?

Check the 'Adobe Photoshop 2022' folder in your Application folder. There is a plugins subfolder in there too, so maybe the link was installed in that folder. That is where plugins used to be installed, so some installers may still do that.
