Question

'Render Grids to Photoshop" not working on Mac

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to photoshop and have been attempting to render a grid to a blank document. Each time that I attempt to do so however, the grid does not populate at all. I am working on a Mac with Apple's M2 max chip with the most updated version of Photoshop.

I have attempted to refresh my preferences automatically and manually as well, to no avail.

@Grids_Hurting

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

As long as you have drawn a perspective grid via the Create Plane Tool, the Render Grids to Photoshop command should be available.

@Stephen Marsh Hi! I'm using version 22.2. I searched under Filter > Vanishing Point > Render Grids to Photoshop. I come up with snake eyes each time I try to bring in a grid.

I can't find this command in 2021, what version are you using?

I'm also having the same issue 3 years later; restarted my computer, reset preferences in PS, and reset Photoshop. Heartbreaking that I can't use this tool.
