Renewed Adobe CC, lost all my brush presets

Last week my Adobe CC renewed and when I opened Photoshop it was like starting fresh from scratch. All my workspaces, hotkeys, presets etc where set back to square one. How do I find my brush presets? I've made a hundred brushes I'm so frustrated to have lost. Each previous Photoshop I now open also resets to square one so I can't export my brushes from the last place they worked.

So, if you're looking for your SAVED presets (manually done with Presets Manager), they'd be in your user library>Application Support>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop 2020 (or 2019, if that's what you were using)>Presets>Brushes

However, if you're looking for actual settings made and not separately saved - it's User Library>Preference>Adobe Photoshop (whichever version you have them in). You'd be looking for .psp files.

If this doesn't make sense, maybe this page will help. Or, I'll watch to see if you found them...

EDIT: It worked! I've reset my brushes! I can't thank you enough. Now I need to save things where I can easily find them in case this happens again.

Thank you so much for the help. There is nothing in my library>Application Support>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop 2019/Presets/Brushes folder. I must have saved my custom brushes elsewhere.

I found the Brushes.psp file from 2019. I tried copying this .psp file from Photoshop 2019 to Photoshop 2020 in hopes that it would automatically find my brush presets but it didn't. I'm thinking I'm out of luck and my brushes are gone forever.

Things like Brush Presets and Workspaces, etc. are saved in folders in your system. Please tell us what OS you're using, and if you have a backup of your drive from which to pull those files. Adobe CC's renewal would not touch those files, however if you also upgraded the applications (and didn't keep your old versions), everything may have been overwritten. Hopefully, you have a backup of everything prior to your upgrade.

I do have backups from before the big 2020 update. I can search my Adobe files from there but I always have trouble finding where my brush presets are saved. I'm on OS Catalina 10.15.2.
