Question

Resolution extremely small in Photoshop

Several months ago, the text in Photoshop began displaying extremely small. By "text," I am referring to the words in the menus (File | Edit | Image, etc.) and in all of the Photoshop windows (Chacters | Layers | Paragraph Styles, etc.). I am not sure how to increase the size. I can barely see the text. It would be equivalent or 4 or 5 pt font if I was looking at the text in Word.

I am having the same problem in Adobe Dreamweaver.

How can I change this? It seems this is a screen resolution problem, but the size of text in my other (non-Adobe CreativeSuite) programs is fine.

Please note I am not referring to text in my images. I am aware of how to increase the size of that text.

NB: I am using Adobe Photoshop, not Adobe Photoshop Elements, but I could not find a support page for Adobe Photoshop.

It's not that Photoshop resolution is extremely small, it's that your screen resolution is extremely high.

When you say "Creative Suite", does that mean CS6? CS6 did not support high resolution screens, they weren't invented yet.

Hi, jmt111,

Normally, if you go to "Preferences" on photoshop or almost every Adobe APP's, and chosse there the menu size text, the problem is solved. Anyway, i can send you print screns how to do it, but you didn't mention what work flow system and what PS vertion you have. Just tell me if is enaugh or you need some more extra help. Happy New Year. JCS

Have you gone into the Application preferences for Photoshop or Dreamweaver and adjusted the UI Scale?
