Rosetta mode not showing up CC2024

I recently purchased some PS plug-ins. When I reached out to their support team that they weren't showing up I found out it's because I'm running an M1 iMac and the plug-ins would require Rosetta mode.

I've installed Rosetta 2, rebooted my computer twice, and the check box to be able to enable Rosetta mode does not show up in the Applications "get info" tab where it should be.

Not sure if it's because I updated to PS2024.

Internet searching hasn't been able to help me figure out what is going on. Help would be appreciated.

I am using an M1 Mac running Ventura. I have tried everything regarding Rosetta. I am doing everything right - selecting the app not the folder, etc. I still cannot get an Open Using Rosetta option in PS 2024, PS 2023, or even PS 2022. It just doesn't appear. What else can I try?

Can you post a screenshot of the Adobe Photoshop 2024.app that your right clicking on and what Get Info says?

I found out what the problem is. I wasn't doing everything right. Somewhere I got wrong information. Very simple: In order to get the Open Using Rosetta option to show, the Photoshop application actually needs to be open, needs to be running. Then, the next time you open PS the Open Using Rosetta option is still checked. When you install panels/plugins, PS needs to be closed. But to activate the Rosetta opton, PS needs to be open.

To clarify a little further what Jeff said, some people mistakenly select the Photoshop folder, not the application itself; make sure you go into the folder and highlight the actual Photoshop application.

Also, there are two ways to open in Rosetta, and I confirm that choosing “Open (Intel)” in the Creative Cloud app (shown below) still works for Photoshop 2024 (version 25). Doing it in the Finder makes it stay that way until you change it; doing it in the Creative Cloud app is only for the next time Photoshop starts.
