.S file format saved by Photoshop

Hy can anyone help me with this problen?

I saved a .psd file lately and now i just find it as an .s 

file and photoshop can't read it anymore. The file has 1,8 gigs and should have anny informantion inside. Does anyone kow how to open this file? Thanks

If you saved it as a psd file, have you tried to rename it with the .psd extension?

I agree with Chuck, the file has probably been renamed.

 

This is the kind of thing that can happen if you have the OS set to hide file extensions. I always recommend to have extensions visible. This is set in Windows under "Folder Options".
