Hi all, how can I save a jpg file, keeping the pixels it had in raw? For example: if a raw file is 12 mb, when I save it in jpg it resizes by half or more. I tried in various ways but nothing. I have the recent subscription version. Thanks to those who will help me understand and solve this problem.

The purpose of the jpg format is to create small files, so what you're seeing is perfectly normal.

The reduction in file size is achieved by using lossy (destructive) compression, and even at the highest quality setting, there is some quality loss.

Repeatedly editing and saving jpg files will result in further quality loss. So jpg is a final format, intended for viewing, and possibly printing.

For editing, use 16-bit Tiff or PSD.
