I am newish to using photoshop, and I've made an icon I want to save as a vector graphic. However, the SVG option isn't there when I go to File>Export>Export As.
I've also tried to go to Photoshop>Settings>Export and change the quick export format, but SVG also isn't listed there. The "Use Legacy 'Export As'" box is not here... and I'm using the latest version. I had 2022 and updated to 2025 today, and I still have the same issue. I have also reset the Photoshop preferences entirely....

WHAT AM I MISSING???
thanks in advance!

Did you actually create it as vector data? Even if you did, only text and shapes are possible to output as vector data from Photoshop. Anything created as paths with the pen tool will be rasterized to pixels.

Vector files should be created in Illustrator and exported to SVG there. Photoshop is the wrong tool.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
