Save for Web / convert to sRGB - does not embed a color profile.

Recently I am experiencing this weird export error when using "Save for Web - convert to sRGB".

If I reopen the recently converted image in Photoshop I get the message:

"The document does not have an embedded color profile". Here I get the option to assign a profile or leave as is. If I save the image as "File - Save As" the color profile is assigned, but here I cannot optimize for web. Exporting with save for web used to work flawlessly a few weeks ago.

I tried deleting the cache and also the preference file (Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 Prefs.psp) but this won't fix the problem.

Photoshop is updated to the latest version.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

I moved your post from the Lounge to the Photoshop forum

In Save for web have you checked both "Convert to sRGB" and "Embed Color Profile" ?

Thanks Dave!

That did the trick, I must have missed that checkbox. Now all my files are exporting color profiles perfectly.

Thank you for the quick response.
