Question

Save for Web dialogue box frozen

I am using the latest version of Photoshop CC 2020 (21.2.0). I just noticed today when trying to save a document that it freezes on the save for web progress dialogue box and I can't exit out. I have to restart Photoshop. Not sure if this is a bug or what. I restarted the computer and restarted Photoshop, the problem still persists.

Can't believe I forgot to do that.. either way, that did the trick. Thank you

Another thing I wanted to point out is when saving for web and try to copy text and paste into file name dialogue box it won't paste the copied text. Any idea on that? I didn't correct that problem after trashing preferences.

Try paste with contextual menu (right click) if you mouse/trackpad has one

That's what I've been doing for a couple of months now. Just wondering if that was a bug. Works fine for Save as menu.

Try trashing your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

(Mac OS only) Open the Preferences folder in the Library folder, and drag the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.
