Question

Save large photos.

I edited a photo in Photoshop CC. Photo is with all layers about 1 GB. Wants to save photo in Lightroom Classic using Ctrl + w.

Get the message: "Cannot save photo because the 2 GB limit for saving is exceeded".

This also occurs if I want to save the photo in a different way.

Question: How can I save this image with all layers in Lightroom Classic or save it in another way????.

There's a misunderstanding here. Lightroom Classic doesn't save photos. It just adds the record of the photo to the catalog, but it doesn't touch the file.

If you're talking about Photoshop, there's a limit in the PSD file format specification. The saved file cannot be bigger than 2GB. You have to save as PSB, not PSD.

An alternative is TIFF, where the limit is 4GB - but PSB is virtually limitless, somewhere in the exobyte range.
