Save optimized as. Issue freezing photoshop 2021

Hi has anyone encountered an issue with the new photoshop 2021 where you try to save optimized as, and the computer just freezes. It never happened before, I've had to workaround it and save artboard to files. 
I've had to force quit th program several times now. Thank you.
