I edited a file and saved it in photoshop, but it will not save as an adobe pdf file, message prog failure.

any help would be greatly appreciated

What is the size of your image in pixels and mb? The maximum size for PDF is 10 MB.

Can you show a screen shot of the error message so we can better assist?

I think that is an old PDF spec.

You're probably right! I was trying to find the information on HelpX, but failed.

Do you know when it changed and for which version? The default joboptions isn't for Acrobat 8. I'm not at my computer, but isn't it Acrobat 5 or 6? And is the limit still 10 MB if you save in older versions of Acrobat?

I'm on my iPad and can't check right now.

Try Save a Copy and choose Photoshop PDF from the Format drop-down menu.
