Scale-able smart filter effects.

Lately i have been loving the smart filters and the oil paint effect, however i just noticed that when i scale an image up to a much larger size , 4x as big, the effect of the filters does not look the same. it re-renders the effect, cool right 🙂 but the effects need to be 'scaled' to acheive the same look, as the lower res version.
