Hi!

Every time i try to edit in Photoshop there is a sign that says "Scratch Disk is Full" and I don't know what to do or why this sign pops up everytime, since there is plenty GB of storage free in my computer and I have tried to search for "media cache files", but I'ts nothing there to delete. I have also tried to delete Photoshop several times, but it didn't change anything. So I don't know what to do, can you please help me?

Hi, it happens when i try to edit files, and also a crash report pops up when I have tried to "reset the preferences" which I don't know if that problem to have something to do with that the scratch disk is full problem?

I had the same problem and set it up so all my pictures are now stored on an external hard drive.

What do you mean by 'plenty GB'?

Exactly how much free space do you have on your scratch disk. In my system, which has 64 GB RAM, Photoshop reserves around 5GB scratch disk space on opening and commonly uses 15-20 GB while working.

Ok that ehould be enough space.

I would first reset my preferences, then check that the correct disk is set in preferences. Preferences can be carried forward in a re-install, so it is worth doing this even if you have reinstalled.

If that does not work, then you need to check you operating system for permissions on that disk to make sure it is not blocked.
