Hi!

I'm having this issue with my Scratch Disk Preferences I've selected an external drive for the scatch disks and cash that is always plugged in and I'm unable to open photoshop.

I've tried to clear the cache and I'm still left with the same issue.

Please assist if possible, below is a screen shot of the issue.

3 GB free is nowhere near enough space for scratch disk.  On opening Photoshop here I see 5GB scratch disk used and during use, often see it climb to 15-20 GB.

If you cannot open Photoshop to change the disk, hold down Ctrl and Alt as you open it to get the scratch disk settings.

Thanks Dave, I'm use a mac and try to select the disk. When I hold CMD+ALT the screen I showed appears and doesn't allow me to do anything else?

3,71GB seems awfully little.

And why don’t you use the other disk as a secondary Scratch Disk?

Thanks, agree yes. Although the drive I have selected has well over 600 gigs of space so that's what doesn't make much sense?

I'm trying to resolve the issue although I'm not entirely sure how?

That’s definitely free space?

How is it formatted?
