Script encryption. Possible?

Is there a way of protecting my own scripts?

I want to send them to a group of people but I don't want them to re-write or change it without my knowledge.

I have seen scripts like a bunch of letters and numbers and work the same. How can I do that?

I'm using javascript.

Correct answer Paul Riggott

In ExtendScript Toolkit

File - Export as Binary

Requires Photoshop CS3 or better and versions are not backward compatable.

CS3 Binary files will work with CS3 or newer.
