Script Security?

We recently had someone at our company try to take some Photoshop scripts and re-sell them to another company and we are trying to figure out the best way to protect them. Can anyone think of a good way to do this?  For example, is there a way to encode the scripts so they look like gibberish to someone reading them but still work fine when called by Photoshop?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

In the Extend Script program, there is an option to export as binary. It is located in the menubar under File>Export as Binary. Hotkey Shift+Ctrl+E

Great! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for.   It's fine if the scritps can still run, they will fail without the proper input.  We just don't want the code to get out there.  Thanks!!!

Just curious: What do those Scripts do so that that person considered them valuable enough to be able to sell them to (what I suppose are) competitors?

First, fire the person and make it known elsewhere in the company why they were fired. This should dissuade people from trying again.

Export as Binary is only a partial solution. The jsxbin file can still be copied and run elsewhere, it just hides the jsx source.

xbytor, then if one adds some branding on the script, with copyright, it could suffice, no?
