Question

Seeing white/pale pixels when working with pixel art

Hello, I need help with this weird issue and it has made me so frustrated - I work with some pixel art right now, which I also convert to smart objects. But whenever I crop layer inside of the smart object, it shows me these weird white/greyish pixels....

The interpolation is on nearest neighbor and I also tried to change points/pica sizes and it never changed. I also tried checking in and out settings in technology previews and nothing happened. Based on other parts of the picture, it seems like its literally stretching some pixels... I do not understand why that is, as I only change the base size of background.

It also doesn't happen with files that are not pixel art.

I need this soon.

Hello, just want to update (as I cant edit the post) - the pale pixels is actually not a problem on its own, but the resizing is. The white pixels are actually a layer below, but they should not be visible. However, because of the weird stretch of the upper layer, they are visible..

What interpolation are you using when you resize?
