Question

Select & Mask: Edge detection, global refinements controls not showing up

I'm using Photoshop CC 2018:

When I click "select and mask" in the options bar, the properties panel that pops up doesn't have edge detection or global refinements. Instead I get controls for "pixel layer properties" and nothing else. Any help in getting edge detection & global refinements to reappear appreciated, thanks.

Hi!

So sorry for the delay in answering you! Are you still having this problem? If so, I have a question for you--I noticed that you have the image icon selected in the Pixel Layer Properties. Did you try clicking on the mask icon to the right of the pixel icon? This should bring up the mask properties in the panel.

Let us know if you have any questions,

Thanks,

Michelle

No worries, I figured it out! I can't remember what the issue was, but all is good now.
