serious bug ... very annoying
Ghost image when moving or transforming layers / groups / text .... only refreshed after hiding and unhiding the background layer

PS 21.2.0, Mac OS 10.14.6, iMac pro

If legacy compositing is enabled try disabling it and restarting Photoshop

This seems to fix it for everyone but me. 🤷

 

I'm pretty sure Adobe arbitrarily hates me. 😮🤷😂✌️💚

Hi, then, you can try to check "Deactivate Native Canvas" in the menu Edit/Preferences/Technology preview (Pc) or Photoshop/Preferences/Technology preview (Mac), then restart Photoshop.

It is used when the GPU you have is not powerful enough for the new compositing engine, or the drivers are out of date.

 

(I copy and pasted this from a professional who knew what they were talking about. this fixed it for me so I hope it works for you as well)
