several questions re template editing

Hi,

1. How do i make the colour change from green to blue background in the first image/template? and green to blue in the 2nd template.

2. How do i find the size of the business card template? 

3.  when i put an image in there how can i expand the image so it fits over the entire length of the business card as i want a photo on the front one.
