Question

shadow removal

I have recently subscribed to Photoshop.

Although I have gone through the tutorials I cannot find specific answers to shadow removal.

I have a picture which has a shadow of the person who took the picture. I'm trying to find a way to simply remove that shadow.

Can anyone walk me through how to do this?

It's super easy to show us the picture.  Just copy it to the clipboard, and paste here with Ctrl v.

There simply isn't any way to give you a meaningful answer without seeing the image.  I will take a wee stab at it though, and suggest you look at the new improved Content Aware Fill

You can see the shadows from the person taking the picture. This is what I want to remove

    Hi

Cloning may work or even content aware fill, it all depends on the image. Your best bet is to post the picture. That way we can advise or show you potential methods.
