Hello everyone.

I did a few photos in Canon 5D Mark III with turned on "Add information about crop" and now my photos/raw open croped (4608x3840px). But I know there is full dimension of photo (5760x3840px), I see it in other photo viewer, but I can´t open it/raw in full dimensions.

Please, is there some solution, how to open raw with hidden area of croped raw?

Thank you so much for some advice.

Miress

If it was previously cropped with the crop tool :

Open the raw image in Camera Raw

Click and hold on the crop tool until the menu appears

    Click on "Clear Crop"

Are you sure the RAW images are being cropped in ACR rather than loading at lower resolution?  If you click on the link at the bottom of the ACR window to open the Workflow Options there is an Image Sizing option.  Is that checked?

Yes, I know it, but there is only one Default size - 17,7MP = 4608x3840. No other choice.

No way. Photoshop/Lightroom see only one default size - 4608x3840. But other image viewer, such as FastStone Viewer see full size 5760x3840.

There is an old thread on the Photoshop Family forum discussing this very issue. There was no conclusion at the time other than to avoid using "Add information about crop" or using a plug in to recover the cropped pixels
