Slice positions not reflecting the origin point specified by ruler.

How can I make my slice co-ordinates reflect the origin point I specified using the ruler? This image should explain all my issues. The top left slice is considered to be at position 0:0 however 0:0 is at a different position according to my ruler. So the slice should be at position x : -2320,  Y : -1600 for example.
